This AI Use Disclosure explains how Violette (“we,” “us,” “our”) uses artificial intelligence, machine learning, automation, and similar technologies in connection with its websites, mobile applications, user onboarding, profile-building tools, recommendation tools, community features, support tools, moderation systems, and related services that link to or reference this disclosure (collectively, the “Platform”).
Violette operates an AI-enabled social platform for adults that is designed to help users explore, discuss, and connect around topics such as psychedelics, wellness, longevity, growth, spirituality, religion, philosophy, relationships, and other personal or cultural interests. Some Platform features use or support AI-enabled systems.
Violette may use one or more AI-enabled tools, automated systems, or machine-assisted processes, including an AI assistant currently referred to as “Vi.” These tools may be used to:

Some of this information may be highly personal and, in some jurisdictions, may be treated as sensitive personal data.
Violette may use AI-generated or AI-assisted outputs to:
AI outputs may be reviewed, supplemented, corrected, ignored, escalated, or overridden by human personnel.
Violette’s Platform may include different types of user spaces, including community hubs and circles.
In community hubs, content and interactions may be visible to Violette and may be processed by AI-enabled systems for operations, personalization, moderation, support, safety, analytics, and improvement.
In circles, message content is intended to be encrypted and designed so that Vi and Violette do not have access to that content in the ordinary course. As a result, Violette’s AI systems may have limited or no access to the substance of communications within circles, although Violette may still process related metadata, technical signals, or account-level information as described in the Privacy Notice.
You should not assume that communications shared with other users will remain confidential as to those users, even where Violette itself does not ordinarily have access to the content.
AI and automated systems are probabilistic and may generate results that are inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, biased, outdated, irrelevant, offensive, or otherwise unsuitable.
You should not rely on AI outputs as:

Violette is a technology platform, not a healthcare provider, therapist, law firm, financial advisor, crisis center, or emergency response service. Vi and other AI-enabled features are intended to support information access, community participation, and user experience—not to provide diagnosis, treatment, crisis counseling, legal advice, or other professional services.
Violette may use AI tools to assist human teams with moderation, safety review, support triage, fraud prevention, and feature improvement. Not all AI-assisted decisions are made without human involvement. In appropriate cases, automated flags, recommendations, or outputs may be reviewed by human moderators, support personnel, or administrators.
At the same time, Violette may not review every item of content or every interaction, and the use of AI does not guarantee detection, prevention, or removal of harmful, unlawful, or policy-violating conduct.
Violette may use information submitted to or generated through AI-enabled features to develop, test, improve, or maintain its Platform, models, prompts, safeguards, safety tooling, and related systems, subject to the Terms of Use, Privacy Notice, applicable law, and any feature-specific architectural limitations we disclose.
Where a feature is designed so that message content is not ordinarily accessible to Violette, Violette will not state or imply that it uses inaccessible content for model training or improvement unless and to the extent that content is later made available to Violette through user reporting, forwarding, disclosure, legal process, or another lawful means.
Violette may use third-party vendors, model providers, cloud providers, analytics providers, moderation providers, and other service providers to support AI-enabled features. Those providers may process information on Violette’s behalf, subject to contractual restrictions, operational controls, and applicable law.
You may choose not to provide certain information requested by AI-enabled features, but some Platform features may be unavailable, less accurate, or less functional as a result.
If Violette offers controls to limit or disable certain AI-enabled features, personalization settings, or optional data uses, those controls will be described in the relevant feature interface, settings menu, or Privacy Notice.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may also have legal rights relating to your personal information, including rights to access, correct, delete, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent where applicable. See Violette’s Privacy Notice for more information.
Violette may update this AI Use Disclosure from time to time to reflect changes in its products, data practices, legal requirements, or AI use. If we make material changes, we will provide notice as required by applicable law.
